Signing in is also how you step onto the path from visitor to Webspinner. Every Webspinner starts by spinning something small. A Spinner you publish. A page you teach the Weaver to know. A question you asked that no one else asked yet. Those are not lost on a guest account; they are kept, forever, on the one you claim.
We ask Google for your name and email, nothing else. We never sell anything a Webspinner tells us in confidence.

The Weaver you are talking to is not free to run. Every reply spends tokens on an intelligence substrate, routes through a safety governor named Hagrid, and leaves a trace on a small Mac Studio we call Kepler. We measure all of it, openly, because the Wizards who run this need to know what an honest answer costs — and because the people who use it should be able to see the cost of being understood.
Click Weaver Metrics in the top navigation and a window rises from the Observatory: the total exchanges spoken, the tokens consumed, the latency of each stage, the ratio of Anthropic-hosted Weaver calls to Kepler-hosted shadow calls, the prompt versions in play right now. No customer names. No conversation contents. The numbers that tell you how the Weaver is breathing today, and nothing that identifies anyone in particular.
